We understand the interest some may have in visiting and looking around our farm properties. Soon, we will be able to allow visitors to see the beautiful lavender plants.
The Port Colborne farm property is not open to the public yet. The plants are quite small. Hopefully by 2021, we will be able to have guests visit our Port Colborne farm property.
At this time the land in Fort Erie poses many hazards. The land is in the process of being cleared and prepared for planting. Debris, stumps, and other hidden hazards are present. The property has signs erected and placed so that the signs are clearly visible in daylight under normal conditions from the approach to each ordinary point of access to the premises, in compliance with Subsection 7(4) of the Trespass to Property Act, R.S.O. 1990.
Please do not go to or enter that farm property. You can be seriously injured.
We would like to remind everyone that it is illegal to trespass on agricultural land used for cultivation or enter a premises when entry is prohibited in Ontario. Anyone who does so is in contravention of Section 2 and/or 3 of the Trespass to Property Act, R.S.O. 1990. This includes with ATVs and snowmobiles.
Persons found guilty face a maximum fine of $10,000.
It's not worth $10,000. It's not worth risking injury to your self.
Thank you for not trespassing! We look forward to seeing you visit our properties when we open them to the public!
